How do I know if I am a candidate for Fraxel Dual® Laser Treatment?

How many Fraxel treatments will I need?
We suggest that maximum results are realized in 4-6 sessions depending on condition. The average time span in between treatments is four weeks.
Is the Fraxel Dual® treatment painful?
Topical anesthesia is applied before the procedure and cold air from a Zimmer device is used on the area being treated to minimize discomfort. After the treatment, most patients report a feeling similar to a sunburn, which disappears in one to two hours.
What side effects can I expect after a Fraxel Dual® Restore Laser treatment?
You will have some degree of redness and swelling after treatment. The intensity and duration depends on how aggressive the treatment was and your healing characteristics. Other temporary side effects may include minor itching, dry skin, peeling or flaking of skin, and a bronzed appearance.
You will be given specific instructions as to how to minimize side effects. Total downtime is typically only from 3 to 7 days. However, you can resume most normal daily activities almost immediately
