How SKINVIVE™ by Juvéderm Works
The Science Behind SKINVIVE™
Hydrated skin is the key to healthy, glowing skin. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring, water-attracting molecule in the body that increases the skin’s natural hydrating ability to retain moisture and softness. But age, environmental factors, hormone decline, and lifestyle (including stress, poor diet and sun exposure) can all deplete the skin’s natural hyaluronic acid. As a result, facial skin becomes, dry, deflated, and drawn – losing it’s healthy glow and youthful plumpness.
SKINVIVE™ is a revolutionary new modified hyaluronic acid gel formula developed by by JUVÉDERM®. SKINVIVE™ helps the skin retain its natural internal moisture and softness leading to an improvement in the glow and smoothness of the cheek skin, and helping address texture changes and dullness.
Like all trusted Juvéderm formulations, SKINVIVE™ is long lasting – with users reporting results extending six month or beyond. And because hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring molecule found in the human body, SKINVIVE™ is safe for all skin types and tones. Like an injectable or aesthetic treatment, SKINVIVE™ should be used in conjunction with your personal topical skin care routine that protects the skin barrier.
SKINVIVE™ FAQs
Can SKINVIVE™ be combined with other treatments?
Yes. It can be combined with other dermal fillers or neurotoxins like Botox. However, for best results, we recommend scheduling laser, microneedling, peels, etc. either 2 weeks prior to your SKINVIVE session or 4 weeks after.
How long until I see complete SKINVIVE™ results?
You will see some results immediately after your treatment. However, full results continue to improve for 2 to 4 more weeks.
How long does SKINVIVE last?
In clinical studies, patients experienced cheek skin smoothness lasting consistently through 6 months and reported high satisfaction with how glowing, hydrated, refreshed, and healthy their skin looked through 6 months. With proper skincare results may last even longer!
What areas can be treated with SKINVIVE?
Originally formulated to restore lost volume in the cheeks, in some cases SKINVIVE can also be an excellent treatment for the temples, and under the eyes.
